Im planning on moving to Saint Martin, does anybody know if the theatre is hiring? Big movie fan so would be a great job for me. I've send them e-mails, but haven't had a response yet..... I know I know it, IS the caribbean, no hurry.. And that's no problem, I'm not an impatient man, but maybe somebody knows a direct e-mail address of the Megaplex 7 establishment..
Living in Holland right now by the way(25 yrs. old), Leisure management/tourism background, so if anybody happens to know some nice job openings or perhaps employement agencies, I'm all ears! Also worked a long time in the retail business.

Am I dreaming? I just saw that Avatar came out again, 4 months after its initial coming out... Strange! Unless... I saw "3D" attached to the movie title on the official website... Does anyone knows if 3D is on St Maarten? I'd love to wear glasses.

I'm a movie freak living on
I'm a movie freak living on St Maarten, and I'm probably one of their best customer! I regret that there is no other movie theater on island (except on the french side), but I'm thankful that this one is OK!
I wish they had numeric projectors for the 3D. I actually don't think their projectors are numeric at all (I've seen the motion picture film burning once). But the sound is at least 6.1.
Maybe rotating the ads at the beginning more than once a year would help avoid getting upset at all those advertisers...
Also I can understand that for economic reasons the movie selection is restricted to big "blockbusters", but once in a while I wouldn't mind seeing more "experiential / intellectual" small movies there.
This theater is indeed
This theater is indeed old-fashioned: no digital, no 3D, only Hollywood movies and limited concession items. New cinema in Curacao is much better!
