Tropismes Gallery invites
Tropismes Gallery invites you to discover artist Nathalie Lepine book "Portrait Gallery", which retraces the last 10 years of her pictorial career.
A period that she dedicated to an uninterrupted study of faces, and probing gazes that have called out to us and moved us for a long time in St.Martin.
The artist Lépine will also unveil her latest works on this occasion: an experimentation of mediums and depth to heighten the feeling, very sensitive work that does not detract from the power of her faces in anyway.
A style that revisits the classic art of the portrait by integrating the developments of 20th century abstract art. Contemporary figuration, unencumbered by academic art codes, immersing us in a world of novel sensations.
The signing and presentation of her works will be held on Saturday, November 21st, 2009 from 5.00pm at "Tropismes Gallery" 107 Bd de Grand Case. The exhibition will continue until November 30th, 2009 (open daily from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 5.00pm to 9.00pm).
